As a certified skincare technician and chemist, Melani executed her vision for a simplified skin care line designed for those who want to practice sustainable lifestyle habits, travel convenience and achieve professional results at home and on the go: high performance skin care with authentic origins. Melani hand picks ingredients, all natural, organic, cosmetic grade, food grade and those that contribute to biodiversity. Melani's active lifestyle informed the design of her unique skin care solutions, her busy schedule and career inspired a personal care philosophy that has become a reality with The Soya Boutique Inc. "I used luxurious skin care brands and baby products on my ultra-sensitive skin, but I wanted realistic and positive results for my evolving skin concerns and my line of business as a fashion model with lots of traveling, long days and heavy daily make up changes." Melani used her years of experience in the fashion and beauty business and knowledge of natural remedies and began researching, experimenting and practicing in the field of natural skin care and chemistry. "I developed a private laboratory, my own techniques and teamed up with one of the best doctors in the country to start production in a state of the art, 4500 sq. ft. facility in Toronto. It was my goal to develop multi functioning and earthly products for my discerning needs that are also safe enough to use on my baby! Now I have less clutter on my vanity and travel neatly with less in my bags!"
